Jones Foster Attorney Matthew L. Worsham Appointed At-Large Member for Florida Bar Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section

Jones Foster, a commercial and private client law firm in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, and Jupiter, Florida, is pleased to announce that attorney Matthew L. Worsham has been appointed an At-Large Member (“ALM”) for The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section.

In this role, Matthew will be a voting member of the RPPTL Executive Council and serve as a key liaison between Section leadership and its Probate & Trust Law Division members in the 19th Judicial Circuit — which includes Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, and Okeechobee counties — helping to strengthen communication and engagement across the state.

At-Large Members play an essential role in advancing the Section’s mission by participating in committees aligned with their practice, contributing to projects and initiatives, monitoring emerging issues, and keeping members informed of important developments and opportunities. Through this position, Matthew will help ensure that the work of the Executive Council is effectively communicated and implemented to support the continued success of the RPPTL Section – the largest and one of the most active sections of The Florida Bar with more than 11,000 members statewide.

Matthew Worsham, a member of Jones Foster's Trust and Estate Litigation practice group, focuses his practice in the areas of probate, guardianship, and trust litigation and trust and estate administration. He represents individual beneficiaries, heirs, fiduciaries, and corporate fiduciaries in probate, guardianship, and trust-related matters, including will and trust contests, trustee/personal representative removal actions, accounting actions, will and trust reformation and modification matters, and elective share cases.

Matthew holds several leadership roles with Bar organizations, including as social co-chair of the Martin County Bar Association and chair of its Wills, Trusts & Estates Committee. He is a past chair of the Judicial Relations Committee, where he conducted interviews with judges from the 19th Judicial Circuit and organized CLE luncheons featuring each judge as a guest speaker to help strengthen the relationships between members of the bar and bench. In addition to his active involvement with The Florida Bar’s RPPTL Section, Matthew is also a member of the Trial Lawyers Section. He has been recognized by several peer-reviewed industry publications, earning inclusion on The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America list for Litigation – Trusts & Estates and Palm Beach Illustrated’s “Top Lawyers” list for Trusts and Estates.

Matthew graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and went on to earn a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law.
