Jones Foster Strengthens Litigation Bench with Addition of Natalie C. Nash

Jones Foster, a commercial and private client law firm with offices in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, and Jupiter, Florida, is pleased to announce that attorney Natalie C. Nash (formerly Rickards) has joined as an associate in the firm’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Litigation practice group.

Ms. Nash joins the firm following a judicial clerkship with the Honorable William Matthewman (Ret.), former Chief U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Florida. During her clerkship, Ms. Nash gained insight into the federal judicial process and the considerations that inform matters before the court. She represents individuals and businesses in commercial litigation matters, applying her understanding of federal court procedures and judicial decision-making to help clients navigate complex disputes.

“Natalie will complement our litigation capabilities and further strengthen our bench, as she joins numerous Jones Foster litigators who have worked for federal district and magistrate judges,” said Chairman Scott G. Hawkins. “The experience our attorneys have gained from working inside the judiciary is invaluable, as it offers firsthand perspective on the court system and the complexities within it. We first got to know Natalie and her outstanding legal work as part of our summer associate program, and we are pleased to welcome her back as she begins the next stage of her career in private practice.”

Ms. Nash’s experience with the federal judiciary began while she was a law student at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she served as a judicial intern to U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce E. Reinhart of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She also interned with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Bangor, Maine.

In addition to her practice, Ms. Nash is active in the legal community. She currently serves as Civics Liaison for the Civil Discourse and Difficult Decisions (CD3) program of the Federal Bar Association Palm Beach County Chapter and coordinates grants and awards initiatives for the Florida Association for Women Lawyers Palm Beach County Chapter.

Ms. Nash earned her Juris Doctor degree magna cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. While in law school, she served as Executive Research Editor of UF’s Journal of Law and Public Policy, participated as a mentor in the Gator Law Mentorship Program, and received a CALI Book Award in Criminal Procedure – Adversary Systems.
