The Forum Club’s Outstanding Public Service award was created in 2008 to honor those individuals who, through community involvement or a past non-elective post, have made Palm Beach County a better place to live. Past recipients have included George T. Elmore, Marshall M. Criser, Jr., and Pat and Richard Johnson.
Sid's commitment to community service includes currently serving as chairman of Palm Beach County’s Meals on Wheels, and previous service as president of the Gulfstream Council Boys Scouts of America, chairman of Palm Beach County’s Criminal Justice Commission, BIZPAC Board of Trustees, chairman of the Economic Council of Palm Beach County, member of the Palm Beach County Education Commission, president of the West Palm Beach Kiwanis Club, president of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, member of the Florida Bar Board of Governors, and a member of the Forum Club of the Palm Beaches’ board of directors.
