Lainey W. Francisco is a member of the Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Land Use & Governmental practice groups. She represents clients in matters involving commercial litigation, governmental litigation, municipal law, land use and zoning.
Lainey holds several leadership roles within legal and industry organizations, including as President of the St. Lucie Bar Association; Vice President/President-Elect of the Federal Bar Association Palm Beach County Chapter; a member of the 19th Judicial Circuit’s Professionalism Panel Executive Board; and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Rupert J. Smith Law Library of St. Lucie County Florida. She is a graduate of the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership St. Lucie program and has been recognized several industry publications for her practice, including on The Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America list and Palm Beach Illustrated’s “Top Lawyers” list.
Lainey graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she served as a Managing Editor of the Florida Law Review and Vice President of the Law College Council. She was elected by her peers to serve as Law School Senator for the UF Student Government and was selected to be a member of Florida Blue Key. Lainey was also recognized with Book Awards for Florida Rules of Judicial Administration and Criminal Procedure: Police Practices.
While attending law school, Lainey gained valuable experience as a Jones Foster Summer Associate, as a judicial extern for U.S. Magistrate Judge Bruce E. Reinhart of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and as a Certified Legal Intern for the 19th Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office.
