Jones Foster is pleased to announce that land use and litigation attorney Lainey W. Francisco has been elected as treasurer of the St. Lucie Bar Association’s Executive Board for the 2023-24 term.
As treasurer of the board, Lainey will serve as the custodian of SLBA funds and securities and work with the board to oversee committee activities that support members through local bar meetings, networking events, and educational opportunities.
Lainey is a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Land Use & Governmental practice groups. She represents clients in matters involving commercial litigation, governmental litigation, municipal law, land use and zoning.
In addition to her new leadership role, Lainey is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association's Palm Beach County Chapter, and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers' Palm Beach County Chapter.
She graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she served as a Managing Editor of the Florida Law Review and Vice President of the Law College Council. She was elected by her peers to serve as Law School Senator for the UF Student Government and was selected to be a member of Florida Blue Key.
