Francisco was elected president of the St. Lucie Bar Association’s (SLBA) board of directors for the 2025-2026 term at the SLBA’s annual Law Day Dinner.
As president of the St. Lucie Bar Association, Lainey will lead the organization’s strategic initiatives, preside over meetings and events, and serve as a key liaison between the local legal community and the public. She will also collaborate with the board of directors to plan and oversee activities that support members through networking opportunities, continuing education, and professional development programs while fostering fellowship among attorneys. Lainey previously served on the SLBA board as treasurer and president-elect.
“As a lifelong resident of Saint Lucie County, it’s an honor to serve as President of the Saint Lucie Bar Association,” Lainey said. “With more than 100 years of history, this organization has played a vital role in supporting the legal community and serving the public. I am proud to continue that tradition and look forward to working with our members to promote professionalism, expand community outreach, and strengthen the connection between our profession and the people of Saint Lucie County.”
Lainey Francisco is a member of the firm’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Land Use & Governmental practice groups. She represents clients in matters involving commercial litigation, governmental litigation, municipal law, land use and zoning.
An active member of the St. Lucie County legal and business community, Lainey holds several leadership roles within industry organizations, including as a member of the St. Lucie Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership St. Lucie Class 42, the Executive Board of the 19th Judicial Circuit Professionalism Panel, and the Rupert J. Smith Law Library of St. Lucie County’s board of trustees. She is also treasurer of the Federal Bar Association Palm Beach County Chapter and a member of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers Palm Beach County Chapter and Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section.
Lainey was named to the 2025 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America list for Commercial Litigation and has been recognized on Palm Beach Illustrated’s “Top Lawyers” list for Municipal Law and Land Use and Zoning Law.
