Jones Foster was proud to serve as a sponsor of the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County’s seventh annual Literacy Links Golf Tournament benefitting the organization and its mission to provide adults and children with literacy programs designed to help them succeed in school and in life.
Litigation attorney Travis J. Foels and Real Estate attorney John J. Campo served on the Literacy Links Golf Tournament Committee for the event, which took place at Palm Beach Par 3 Golf Course. Travis and John are both actively involved with the Literacy Coalition as volunteers for its Read to Me program and Adult Essay Initiative, respectively.
The Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in the community by promoting and achieving literacy, according to its website. Through extensive outreach and collaboration with a network of community partners, the Coalition is working to address Palm Beach County’s needs through adult and family programs such as Glades Family Education and Village Readers Family Education; children’s literacy programs including Budding Readers, Building Better Readers, and Stories and STEM; Literacy AmeriCorps as well as resources for teachers to encourage literacy in the classroom.
Travis Foels is a member of Jones Foster's Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice group. He represents businesses, individuals, and municipalities in civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial litigation, real estate litigation, product liability, premises liability, and personal injury matters. Travis is actively involved with the Young Lawyers Section of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and serves on the Law Alumni Council for the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
John Campo is a member of Jones Foster’s Real Estate team who represents clients in transactions concerning acquisitions and dispositions as well as commercial leasing projects. He is an active member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section and currently a class member of the Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership West Palm Beach program.
