Sid Stubbs has focused his practice in the areas of complex commercial litigation and law firm litigation, building a prestigious career spanning several decades. Boca Magazine called him "a lawyer’s lawyer" because much of his practice consists of the representation of other lawyers in legal malpractice disputes.
Sid has been listed by Best Lawyers in America for over 30 years and was named the Best Lawyers "Bet-the-Company Litigator of the Year" in West Palm Beach in 2009 and 2010. He is consistently recognized by Florida Super Lawyers, South Florida Legal Guide, and was named to Florida Trend’s Legal Elite Hall of Fame. Chambers USA named Sid among America's Leading Business Lawyers, stating that he "remains the shining light and beacon of the Bar in Palm Beach County.” As a result of his preeminent legacy, Sid was featured on the cover of Florida Super Lawyers in 2013 with the caption: ‘Franchise Player - The quiet persuasiveness of business litigator Sid Stubbs.’
Sid is a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a former Florida State Chair of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is a former president of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and served as a member of the Florida Bar Board of Governors. He also served as special counsel to the Honorable Bob Graham, Governor of Florida in 1983 and 1984.
In 2014, Mr. Stubbs received the Outstanding Public Service Award from The Forum Club of the Palm Beaches, recognizing his significant community service and leadership.
