About Peter

Peter Sitaras, a member of Jones Foster’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, focuses his practice in the areas of complex commercial litigation and civil litigation. His previous experience includes litigating class actions, federal appeals, and real estate and business disputes, as well as handling matters related to intellectual property, international arbitration, medical malpractice, and personal injury law.

Peter graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law and was awarded membership in the prestigious Order of the Coif. During his law school studies, Peter served as a research assistant and as a member of the International Moot Court Board where he competed in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

In addition, Peter gained valuable experience as a legal intern for the Miami Regional Office of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He is a recipient of the Dean’s Certificate of Achievement Award in Intellectual Property for Business Lawyers and was named a Dean’s Fellow in Property and Torts.
