About Michael

Michael Goldman is a member of Jones Foster’s Real Estate team who focuses his practice on complex commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, real estate development and construction, property management, title and survey review, due diligence, and related transactions.

Michael advises clients throughout the lifecycle of commercial real estate projects, from initial planning through closing and beyond. He drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, letters of intent, commercial leases, amendments, and other transaction documents. His practice also includes conducting and managing due diligence, reviewing title commitments and surveys, evaluating lease and development issues, and coordinating all aspects of real estate closings.

In addition to transactional work, Michael provides counsel on development and operational matters involving retail, mixed-use, industrial, and commercial properties. He works closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to identify and mitigate legal risk, coordinate with outside consultants and local counsel, and facilitate efficient execution of real estate projects. He also has experience with corporate entity formations and governance matters related to real estate ownership and investment structures.

Michael graduated cum laude with a J.D. degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship Recipient. During his studies, he was a member of the University of Miami Business Law Review and Business Law Society. Michael gained valuable experience as a student-attorney with the Investor Rights Clinic and Startup Practicum, where he worked on financial regulatory matters and assisted with the formation of new business entities.
