About Danielle

Danielle Jakeman, a member of Jones Foster’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution team, represents businesses and individuals in a wide range of commercial litigation and employment litigation matters.

Her prior experience in commercial litigation includes a focus on product liability and warranty cases for maritime product manufacturers. In addition, she gained valuable insight into the federal court system having served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Jacqueline Becerra, U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of Florida, and most recently as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Bruce E. Reinhart, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Florida.

Danielle is actively involved in several legal organizations, including the Palm Beach County chapters of the Federal Bar Association and Florida Association for Women Lawyers, as well as the Palm Beach County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section and The Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division.

Danielle graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law where she served as Managing Editor of the Florida Law Review. She also served as a Teaching Assistant to UF law students in Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy. During her law school studies, Danielle served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Ursula Ungaro, former judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
