Jones Foster, a 100-year-old commercial and private client law firm with offices in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, and Jupiter, is proud to support Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League (PAARL) and its pet food bank, Peggy’s Pantry, this holiday season. This particular program was selected due to the significant impact the program has on the community and to raise awareness of the need.
Peggy’s Pantry is one of PAARL’s critical Safety Net programs that provide relief to Palm Beach County residents who find themselves financially stretched or unable to care for their pet(s) due to experiencing a housing crisis, hospitalization, domestic violence situation, or other hardship. Financial instability or setbacks often result in beloved companion animals being surrendered to an already overwhelmed shelter system because their owners are unable to afford pet food. The goal of the program is to keep owners and their pets together in the home and out of the shelter.
Through the JF Impact program, the firm and its employees donated more than 100 bags of dry food and cases of wet food for dogs and cats as part of an ongoing series of community involvement initiatives marking its 100th anniversary.
This year alone, more than 350,000 meals will be provided through the pet food bank which relies on community and corporate donations of food and supplies to meet an overwhelming demand.
