Jones Foster Supports Busch Wildlife Sanctuary on National Nonprofit Day

Jones Foster, a 100-year-old commercial and private client law firm with offices in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, and Jupiter, is proud to support Busch Wildlife Sanctuary in its mission to protect Florida’s wild animals and natural ecosystems through environmental education and wildlife management services.

In recognition of National Nonprofit Day on August 17, 2024, Jones Foster Jupiter-based shareholders Scott McMullen and Tom Baird, also the Town Attorney for Jupiter, visited the new 19-acre campus and met with staff members and animal ambassadors following a firm donation of 100 items from the organization’s Amazon Wish List. The items included essentials such as wildlife food, medical and office supplies, and enrichment toys.

This Jones Foster Impact “100” initiative is part of a series of community service projects created to support local nonprofits throughout the year as the firm celebrates 100 years as legal counselors in Palm Beach County.

Busch Wildlife Sanctuary is a nonprofit organization with a twofold mission of wildlife rehabilitation and environmental education. It rescues sick, injured, or orphaned native Florida wildlife with a goal of releasing healthy animals back to the wild and cares for 200 resident animals. The wildlife rehabilitation center receives approximately 6,000 animals into its hospital each year, 90% of which have suffered from some type of human-related injury. Through its Environmental Education Program, it seeks to teach children and adults about conservation efforts, natural resources, and native and endangered species to prevent human-related injuries.
