Jones Foster, a commercial and private client law firm with offices in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, and Jupiter, is proud to announce that litigation attorney Brett T. Lashley has graduated from the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches’ 2025 Leadership West Palm Beach program, an initiative designed to cultivate emerging leaders who live or work in the City of West Palm Beach.
As one of 28 class members selected to join the program, Brett participated in a series of immersive, behind-the-scenes experiences from January through May exploring the community’s key sectors, including government operations, health and human services, education, economic development, arts and culture, neighborhoods, and even environmental resources such as the water catchment area. Leadership WPB program days were held at prominent locations throughout the city, including CityPlace, City Center, the North End and South End, and various sites in the western communities.
Special themed days—such as Health & Human Services Day and Community & Culture Day—offered participants unique insights from local business leaders, nonprofit organizations, and civic institutions.
Over the course of the program, participants gain a deeper understanding of the city’s inner workings, challenges, and the dynamics of urban change. They are encouraged to apply their skills and perspectives to become the next generation of local leaders committed to enhancing the quality of life in the Palm Beaches.
Brett Lashley, a member of Jones Foster's Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Land Use & Governmental teams, focuses his practice in the areas of general commercial litigation with an emphasis on employment, real estate, and local municipal law. Brett represents individuals and businesses in matters involving trade secrets, the enforcement of noncompete agreements, specific performance involving real property and deposit disputes, landlord-tenant disputes, and commercial contract litigation. Brett provides counsel to the Town of Lake Park, the Town of Jupiter, and the Town of Palm Beach and advises the municipalities on matters involving code enforcement hearings, planning and zoning, and Town commission meetings.
In addition to his participation in Leadership West Palm Beach, Brett is actively involved with the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section and serves on the Civil Practice Committee.
