has been named to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Palm Beach Chapter Board of Directors, effective January 2021.
“It will be an honor to serve the local chapter as a Board Member alongside some of the most accomplished lawyers in Palm Beach County," said Steve. "I look forward to actively supporting the important work of ABOTA.” In addition to Steve’s Board of Directors role, he currently serves on the Remote Jury Trials Committee of ABOTA.
ABOTA is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges and is considered to be one of the most prestigious affiliations for trial attorneys. Membership is by invitation only and all members must meet a list of professional requirements as well as extol the virtues of civility, integrity, and professionalism. The local Palm Beach Chapter is comprised of only 107 select members of the legal community. Chapter activities support the mission of ABOTA through educational programs, judiciary events honoring local, state and federal judges, juror education and recognition, and local scholarships.
The organization and its members are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and are committed to preserving the independence of the judiciary, recognizing that judicial impartiality and fairness protect against the whims and demands of the government and special interests.
Steve is an accomplished Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial attorney and focuses his practice on product liability, wrongful death, personal injury, defamation, real estate litigation, and commercial litigation. He represents individuals, businesses, and governmental bodies in high-stakes litigation, often in cases with complex technical issues.
