Scott G. Hawkins Receives Palm Beach County Bar Association's Judge Edward Rodgers Diversity Award

Jones, Foster, Johnston & Stubbs, P.A. is pleased to announce Scott G. Hawkins is the recipient of the Palm Beach County Bar Association's Judge Edward Rodgers Diversity Award. He was presented with the award at the PBCBA's annual Bench Bar Conference Luncheon on Friday, February 19, 2016.

Scott the firm's Vice-Chair and is the Past-President of The Florida Bar (2011-2012).  He is Florida Bar Board Certified in Business Litigation and practices commercial and corporate litigation with an emphasis on intellectual property, trade secret disputes, covenants not to compete, securities and real estate litigation.

The Judge Edward Rodgers Diversity Award is presented each year to an individual who (among other things) “Cultivates and promotes diversity and gender initiatives that establish and foster a more inclusive and equitable work environment.” He was nominated by attorney Grasford W. Smith, who had this to say, “He supports diversity because it is in his heart and not for recognition or acclaim. I am confident that Judge Rodgers would be highly pleased that Scott Hawkins would receive the Award bearing his name because of Scott’s significant contributions to the Bar and the workforce.”
