H. Adams Weaver Reappointed to The Florida Bar’s Eminent Domain Committee

Litigation & Dispute Resolution Shareholder, H. Adams Weaver, has been reappointed by The Florida Bar’s president-elect, John M. Stewart, to serve on the Eminent Domain Committee.

The scope and function of the Eminent Domain Committee is to study and keep informed of recent developments in the field of condemnation of private property for public use by governmental agencies or private companies who have the power of eminent domain.

Adams has maintained a statewide practice in eminent domain and related land use litigation for over thirty-five years. In addition to his eminent domain and land use practice, he has successfully litigated numerous complex commercial and contested matters.  He represents businesses in a wide variety of industries including industrial and agricultural properties, owners of large vacant property, and individual homeowners.

Adams served as Chairman of the Eminent Domain Committee from 1987-1988, Chairman of the Eminent Domain CLE Manual Steering Committee from 2003-2008, and he authored a chapter in The Florida Bar’s Eminent Domain Practice and Procedure Manual.

Adams holds an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and has been recognized consistently by Florida Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America.
