Robert W. Wilkins and Joanne M. O’Connor Serve as Panelist and Moderator at Palm Beach County Bar Association Luncheon

Litigation Shareholders Rob Wilkins and Joanne O’Connor served as panelist and moderator, respectively, at the Palm Beach County Bar Association (PBCBA) Judicial Relations Committee ESI Discovery Luncheon, held at the Judge Daniel T. K. Hurley Courthouse.

The Judicial Relations Committee presented “A Practitioners Guide to Federal and Florida ESI Discovery”, with panelists assembled to discuss recent federal opinions regarding ESI discovery and the practical implications of ESI for state practitioners. Additional topics addressed included courtroom procedures and local rules; family and probate ESI discovery; and civil ESI discovery production and costs. The Judicial Relations Committee serves as a liaison between the Bar and the Judiciary; plans, implements and coordinates programs for better relations between the Bench and Bar; and provides information to the public to ease court access.

Rob, the Firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group Leader, is a Board Certified Specialist in Business Litigation and Civil Trial by The Florida Bar and has a preeminent commercial litigation practice with an emphasis on eDiscovery, Data Security and Privacy, and Breach Response. Joanne O’Connor is a Florida Bar Board Certified specialist in Business Litigation who focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation including business torts, partnership and corporate disputes, non-compete agreements, civil RICO, real estate and land use litigation, and lawyer and law firm defense. Joanne currently serves as President of the Federal Bar Association Palm Beach Chapter.
