Speaking Engagement—Palm Beach County Bar Association Bench Bar Conference

For over forty years, the judges and lawyers of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit and Palm Beach County have met at the annual Bench Bar Conference to discuss issues pending in the Circuit, discuss evolutions in the law, and reconnect with colleagues.  Taking place this year at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, the theme is “Breaking Barriers and Sharing Solutions.”

Theodore S. Kypreos, a member of Jones Foster’s Board of Directors, appeared on the probate and estate law panel. Issues covered included a number of probate, estate and trust law developments, including recent Florida statutory changes concerning the limitations of actions against trustees for failure to account to beneficiaries.

Theo practices in the areas of probate and trust litigation, trust and estate administration, guardianship law, and fiduciary litigation. As an experienced trial and appellate attorney, Theo represents corporate and individual fiduciaries, individual heirs and beneficiaries, and charitable institutions and beneficiaries. He is consistently recognized by peer and industry publications and served as the 2014-2015 President of the Palm Beach County Bar Association.

Robert W. Wilkins, Chair of the Litigation Department at Jones Foster, was a panelist for the Alternative Dispute Resolution session. The session title mirrored his article entitled, Try Using Neutrals for State Court ESI Disputes, published by LAW360, in October, 2018.

Rob Wilkins is Chair of the Litigation Department at Jones Foster and a Florida Bar Board Certified Attorney in Business Litigation and Civil Trial Law. Rob has over 30 years of experience as a trial lawyer in both federal and state courts, representing a broad spectrum of clients from individuals to multi-national corporations. He has extensive experienced in e-Discovery and data privacy law, including the ethical responsibilities of lawyers as it relates to the use of technology.
