Jones Foster Sponsors Annual Stanley Klett Sr. Winterfest Carnival

Jones Foster is proud to have served as a sponsor of the annual Winterfest Carnival, a free holiday-themed experience for Palm Beach County foster children and their families.

The West Palm Beach event, hosted by Speak Up For Kids of Palm Beach County, was originally founded in 1996 by Stanley Klett, Sr., who dedicated 20 years of service as a Guardian ad Litem volunteer to hundreds of children and families. Litigation attorney Stanley D. Klett, Jr. continues to fundraise for the event to preserve his father’s legacy as an advocate for the community and to share the spirit of the holiday season with local youth.

“Over 70 volunteers help make the day special for foster kids by transforming the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) grounds into a winter wonderland,” according to Speak Up For Kids Executive Director Coleen LaCosta. The full-fledged carnival features interactive craft stations, activities, face painting, food, music, and a visit from Santa Claus and Christmas Belle.

Speak Up For Kids is an organization that aims to rewrite children’s futures through effective advocacy in dependency court and programs to help them grow and succeed. The nonprofit works directly with the Guardian ad Litem program to fund courtroom advocate positions.

Stan Klett, Jr. is a Florida Bar Board Certified Business Litigation attorney with more than 30 years of broad-based litigation experience. He practices in the areas of commercial litigation, trusts and estates litigation, arbitration and mediation, property rights, administrative litigation matters, and employment litigation.
