James C. Gavigan, Jr. and William G. Smith Promoted to Firm Shareholders

Jones Foster is proud to announce that attorneys, James C. Gavigan, Jr. and William G. Smith, have been promoted to firm Shareholders.

Jamie Gavigan focuses his practice in the area of complex commercial litigation with a particular emphasis on real estate, land use and zoning, eminent domain and property rights issues.

He is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, serving on the Judicial Relations and Professionalism Committees, the Young Lawyers Section Executive Board. He is President of the Georgetown University Club of Palm Beach.

Bill Smith concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, taxation, and transactional corporate law. He graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, magna cum laude, in 2010. After being admitted to The Florida Bar, he went on to earn his Master of Laws in Taxation degree (LL.M.) from the Graduate Tax Program at the University of Florida. He is a 2016 graduate of Leadership West Palm Beach.
