Senior Counsel Genny Bernstein Newest Addition to Jones Foster

Jones Foster is pleased to announce that Genny Bernstein has joined the Firm as Senior Counsel in its Elder Law and Estate Planning departments. “On behalf of all of us at Jones Foster, we are delighted to welcome Genny to the group,” says Larry B. Alexander, Chairman of the Firm. “Her extensive experience in Elder Law and Estate Planning will enhance the service we provide to our clients.”

As a Florida Bar Board Certified specialist in Elder Law, Bernstein brings unique experience to Jones Foster that will further the Firm’s commitment of service to clients throughout Florida. In addition to Estate Planning, Genny focuses her practice in the areas of planning for long-term Medicaid, Incapacity Planning, Veteran Benefits, and Special Needs Planning.

Bernstein is admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, Florida Courts, and is an Accredited Attorney for Claims Preparation, Presentation and Prosecution with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She is Past-Chair of The Florida Bar's 15th Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee E, a past instructor of the Elder Law Annual Update and Review Course for The Florida Bar, and is a frequent lecturer on the subject of Elder Law.

Genny is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA); the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys (AFELA); The Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar; the Palm Beach County Bar Association; and the Real Estate, Probate & Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar. She is listed consistently among the Legal Elite by Florida Trend magazine.
