Robert W. Wilkins Serves as Panelist at Palm Beach County Bar Association Virtual Seminar

Litigation Shareholder Robert W. Wilkins served as a panelist at the Palm Beach County Bar Association (PBCBA) virtual seminar titled "ADR Now - What the Covid Are We Doing? The seminar, presented by the organization’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Business Litigation Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Committees, was comprised of several presentations by legal practitioners and industry professionals.

Rob, the Firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group Leader, was among a panel of attorneys and 15th Judicial Circuit judges assembled to discuss “ADR and Clearing the Court Backlog Part II: Mediation & Mediation Arbitration.”

PBCBA’s mission is to serve its members, foster professionalism, and enhance the public’s understanding and awareness of the legal system. The organization offers Continuing Legal Educational Seminars in over 20 areas of practice.

Rob has over 35 years’ experience as a trial lawyer and is a dual Board Certified Specialist in Civil Trial and Business Litigation. Rob represents and counsels clients in complex business litigation matters, including e-discovery, data security and privacy issues, construction litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, employment and non-compete matters, civil RICO, securities, and commercial real estate landlord/tenant matters. He is experienced in defending actions seeking certification of nationwide and statewide classes and has served as Co-Counsel in defense of a multidistrict litigation matter with potential damages in excess of $100 million.

Rob is active within various industry and bar associations. Currently, he is Co-Chair of the E-Discovery Subcommittee and the Data Breach & Internet Subcommittee of the ABA Section of Litigation’s Commercial and Business Litigation Committee. He previously served as Chair of The Florida Bar’s Business Litigation Certification Committee; Chair of the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s (PBCBA) Technology Law Committee; and Vice-Chair of The Florida Bar’s Legal Specialization and Education Committee.
