Jones Foster is proud to announce that Emily Snider has graduated from Leadership West Palm Beach, class of 2019. The 26 graduates received their certificates from Mayor Keith James during a City Commission meeting in June.
Each year, The Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches selects up to 28 individuals to participate in the Leadership West Palm Beach program. The mission of Leadership West Palm Beach is to cultivate the leadership potential of those individuals who reside or work in the City of West Palm Beach and utilize their skills to foster the development of programs and opportunities that would enrich and improve the quality of life in the Palm Beaches.
Participants are introduced to many aspects of the community including government, health and human services, education, economic development, arts, culture and festivals, neighborhoods and even the water catchment area. The purpose of this exposure is to generate leaders with a well-rounded knowledge base to assist in future planning and decision-making for the betterment of West Palm Beach.
Emily is a member of the Firm’s Private Client Services and Corporate & Tax teams and concentrates her practice in the areas of domestic and international estate planning, estate and trust administration, taxation, and transactional corporate law. Emily is actively involved in various community organizations and initiatives. She currently serves on the Grants Committee for Impact the Palm Beaches and as a volunteer guardian ad litem in Palm Beach County. She has previously served as President of the Clara Gehan Association for Women Lawyers and as Chapter Representative to the state board of the Florida Association of Women Lawyers.
