Lara Hillman leads the firm's strategic business development, marketing, branding, and client relationship efforts, in addition to corporate and media communications designed to drive company growth, advance brand awareness, and optimize client engagement. As a member of the Administrative Team, Lara works closely with company stakeholders to establish strategic objectives and implement communications initiatives that speak on behalf of the firm and its attorneys and align with business strategy. She serves as a gatekeeper of the brand, ensuring that the firm’s visual and verbal identity are implemented consistently and coherently. She does so by collaborating with multidisciplinary creative professionals in order to enable the brand to communicate from a differentiated position. Furthermore, Lara is responsible for the execution of all internal and external marketing communication, striving to consistently add value to clients, colleagues, and the community through firm wide initiatives.
Lara's diverse background at creative agencies and in-house at prestigious law firms equips her with unique know-how and invaluable experience with large-scale branding programs, strategic planning, and the establishment of internal marketing processes and practices, all of which align with the executive team’s forward-thinking vision for the Firm.
Lara graduated from the University of Georgia (UGA) with a bachelor’s degree in Consumer Journalism. While at UGA, she competed on scholarship with the tennis team, reaching as high as number one in the nation, winning the SEC Championship three consecutive years, and earning the titles of Athletic Scholar, Academic SEC Honors, and All-American Academic.
